Fees

Investment Advisory Services

Our core business is to provide investment services to our clients. This includes discretionary investment selection, asset allocation, and portfolio design based on our client’s goals, objectives, and cash flow needs.

Annual Investment Management Fee

Our clients are individuals, families, trusts, businesses, and charities. We give our clients a choice between a percentage fee based on their account balance as described below. Our fees range from 1.20% to .6% depending on investment strategies and risk tolerance. Includes:
  • Portfolio management
  • Quarterly statements (monthly if client prefers)
  • Monthly, quarterly, biannual, or yearly reviews per client request
  • Unlimited financial planning and financial plan consultations.

*Trading fees are paid by the client. They can range from $.03 per share to a max $4.95 per equity trade or more if using options or mutual funds. Certain ETFs are free.

Financial Planning Services

We are a full-service financial planning and investment management firm. We do not charge for financial planning services if we are acting as your investment advisor. Assets we manage are held directly with Fidelity Investments. We never take possession or have access to our clients assets. See our financial planning services page for a description of our planning services. Our initial fee is $5,000 for plans only and may be more depending on the complexity of the plan. We do provide investment advice for plans we do not manage, and that fee is the same as the fee for our directly managed accounts.

Investment Strategies

Christopher Lee Financial utilizes asset allocation strategies using fundamental analysis of individual stocks, bonds, bond mutual funds, exchange traded funds and a mixture of cash. Our allocation strategies are specific to the client’s risk, time horizon, and need. We do not put our clients in one size fits all allocations. Every account is specific to that client. Our investment selections are based on academic studies relating to stock value, income, and growth. Our research includes financial periodicals, prospectuses, annual reports, SEC filings, and subscription services. Our thorough process requires we review the holdings annually and make portfolio decisions based on stock and economic fundamentals. We believe our process is most successful if given a minimum of 3 years investment. We act as a fiduciary and always work to keep our clients interests ahead of our own. We receive minimal economic benefit from the investment choices we recommend. Our employees may receive gifts of nominal value at conventions, holidays, shared expenses for travel and lodging for education at due diligence meetings, meals and entertainment. We are very sensitive to conflicts of interest and do not believe these benefits affect our decisions or fiduciary obligations.
